RE: Aquarium Maintenance in SF  Michael Laflamme

Eric,

You could check with Jeff at Penninsula Aquarium Service. He probably won't
do it, but he can verify a price for you, and perhaps suggest someone who
could do it.

Incidentally, when I had my service, I charged a minimum of $75.00 an hour
for service. Depending on the size of the tank, the visits needed, and if
they were a monthly customer, the price was adjusted from there. (most times
folks got more out of me for $75 than just an hour). However, for folks
that called me up with "moving" or similar requests...I started at $75 and
we went from there.

Hope that helps.

I have a friend that needs her 20 gallon tank clean top to bottom
(not what I keep recommending, but I try). She's being quoted
$75-120 to clean the tank and replace the gravel (?) and it's been
awhile since I've had to deal with maintenance people so I don't
know what the cost is, but her quotes seem high.

Anyone that works SF that you could suggest to me?
