 Mesh sand is easier to clean than playsand. Mesh #20 is a good size. #30 is finer grain. It will not affect
the ph because it is silica sand. Play sand is mix grain and the finer particles tends to be a nuisance.

I spent some time a while back looking for mesh #20, without success. Home Deport, Orchard Supply Hardware, Ashby Lumber, and a local landscaping outfit. They had either never heard of it, or said that it was available only as a special order item.
