Did you tell someone who works there? One thing I learned working in a LFS
is that the staff has less time to really study the fish than the
customres do.

Finding sick, untreated fish in Albany is very unusual. It happens, as it
does in any store. If you tell someone working there, almost fon of two
things will happen: 1)they will tell you they know the fish is sick and
are treating it and just forgot to post the tank, or 2) they will say they
had no idea, hadn't had a chance to see it and then treat the tank. Once
in a while someone will argue with you, but that is very rare. Ich being
the big exception because those of us with extreme nearsightedness get
micro vision along with it and can spot ick more easily than normal
sighted folks or those suffering middle age and not bifocals.

Generally speaking, you will see less loss and disease in fish from Albany
than from several of the other LFS around.

I quit going in there for other reasons.

I recently went to Albany Aquarium (Richmond) (a lot of people think this it
THE LFS for bay area), well anyway, it sucked!
Price are way high and fish condition was poor.

There was a tank full of baby clown loaches and all of them were sick!
Still the store charges 7$ each!

I will not to go there again in the near future.
