Since we're talking about filters...I used to run a UGF in a 10 gallon...how the heck do you clean it? I would have to tear down the tank to get all the poop out of it.

Is >100+ Gal tank too heavy for normal Pergo floor? 180 Gal tank has to

 If I ever go up to the 180 gal I want I will probably go to a sump
system.
 
The canisters have the advantage of being nearly invisible and
sometimes
 quiet ;-)

I have a 180 planted tank which uses a sump. However, I also use an
ehiem
canister for extra water movement. The combination is perfect.
