Is >100+ Gal tank too heavy for normal Pergo floor? 180 Gal tank has to
be on the concrete floor?

If I ever go up to the 180 gal I want I will probably go to a sump
system.

The canisters have the advantage of being nearly invisible and
sometimes
 quiet ;-)

Troi,

I have a 180 planted tank which uses a sump. However, I also use an
ehiem
canister for extra water movement. The combination is perfect.
