Classy place--like hotel conference facilities, but a big room with windows. However, the ceiling is low, making projections hard to see. The sound system was very bad, unless it was the microphone. Glitzy brightly-lit low ceiling is annoying. Maybe the lights could be adjusted. Parking seemed hard so I paid at the garage. Some say they parked all right, but the existence of an attended parking garage indicates some difficulty. The plus is that having everybody on the same level with bright lighting is conducive to socializing. But this would be the case at most facilities. Cushioned chairs, not fixed theatre seats. I'd be ok with a funkier venue myself. Cliff L |
