Does anyone have some thorough instructions? I got some from a site but its not that clear.
My plans:
2 liter bottle, drilled hole ontop with airline tubing with silicone on both ends of the cap.

The setup my wife made had a adjustable valve going into the pop bottle
top then the tubing going into the tank to a airstone.

 What im wondering:
What can i use as a reactor
We just use a cheapie fine mist airstone.

If you want fancy, take a 2 or 1 liter bottle with cap on, cut wide holes
into the side midway between the top and bottom (so you can direct the
output of a small powerhead through, put gravel in the bottom to keep it
down, have the airstone bubble from the bottom chamber into the top
chamber. Unscrew the reactor's cap to make sure the gas bubble is all
from the generator.

The co2 gas is trapped in the top of the bottle and the powerhead gives
some water circulation under the air pocket so so the gas disolves
quicker.

I was thinking of putting the output of the co2 generator into the air
input of a powerhead venturi, but I am afraid that it could suck the
hootch into the tank after the yeast has run out of food.

Does the airline tubing touch the mixture or not.
No, you do not want the hootch to get into the tank.

If you can get a 3 liter bottle to put the mix into, that would be
even better since it would leave more room for foam and whatnot.

Whats the ratio of the sugar:yeast and how often do i change it.
My wife's foggy memory sez:
1/2 packet or less of bread yeast. Don't use too much yeast or you will
blow your wad of co2 all at once. Don't use your spouse's beer yeast. =)
1 cup sugar
6 cups water
and a teaspoon of baking soda if you put in too much yeast.

We changed it after we noticed that the bubbles stopped streaming out.
