Hey all, Did any of you see the Tetra segment on the CBS early show? I came across this letter on a reef forum. Follow the link in the letter to Reef Central and decide for yourself. I cannot confirm any of what is being said, I just wanted to pass this on. I personally think Tetra was very irresponsible.
Not sure how many of you saw the Early Show on CBS last weekend where Tetra showed just how simple it is to set up a marine aquarium (5 gallon) and then just throw in a seahorse, a regal tang, and a few clownfish, but it's time to stand up and be counted! I can't believe the blatant misrepresentation of the marine hobby by Tetra! They just threw in the fish (no acclimating), and said all you have to do is add plants and you're ready to go for under $50! I'm steamed! They failed to mention that it was even a saltwater aquarium.
