Well a refugium is nothing more than a marine ***planted*** tank.

Just got back from 3 days in the Florida Keys collecting loads of coralline
algae. I have loads of stuff and have found some really nice spots right off
the road.
Even found some Daysa this time of year.

Refuge's are certainly the way to go but I think the mud is less important
than you think.

I've been around on the SW list on it and I don't have any mud per
se..........
I bring back the "mud" that the the refug macro's are native too.....
It's mainly dead H. opuntia CaCO3 detritus....

Does it touch on Leng Sy's "Magic Mud" system? I hear this
is the best and ONLY way to do reefs! (j/k)
