My wife and I are thinking of building a sump with an area for
some Miracle Mud and some sort of legal-in-CA macro alge. Are
there any good designs for a sump that would work well with a
72 gal tank?

The tank is dry and we are still researching options.

Any truth to the rumor that the Aquarium will let you have a
tiny frag or two of coral or let you seed your own dead rock
after you have been volunteering to clean the water-side windows
for a while? Any truth to the free air while you are doing work
for them deal?
