CO2 resistant tubing  doug

I was just looking at my Pet Warehouse catalog and they have this really expensive CO2 resistant tubing ($14.99 for 6 feet!) that they claim will only lose less than 1% of the CO2 before it gets in your tank. They also say that regular tubing ($1.89 for 25 feet) can lose up to 25% and silicon tubing ($2.89 for 20 feet) can lose up to 5% of the CO2 before it enters your tank. Does anyone know if these claims have any truth to them or not? I've been using regular tubing for years and it seems to work fine for me but maybe I'm wasting a lot of CO2. That expensive stuff is not even worth considering for me since I would need about 24 feet of it but I would switch to silicon tubing if it's really gonna make a difference. Anyone have any input on this subject?

Thanks,
Doug
