lmao! It was actually an auction item - the portable podium w/ loudspeaker that's become the norm at these newfangled "meetings amongst the tanks" was absent that evening. Consequently, someone had the ingenious (?) idea of placing the acrylic 55 on its side and after settling a lamp on it, voila. No surprise was evident when Frank later remarked that we oughta buy the thing for the future, when a backup podium might again be necessary.
