Any Betta people on here...? I've got a lone male Betta that a friend of mine gave me a long time ago. He lives by himself in a 20-gallon "high" tank. I've noticed that for a while he's had a habit of sitting on the bottom when he's not busy eating or begging, but in the past couple days he's started to lie on the bottom on his side, and hasn't shown much interest in food. I'm not really sure what's wrong. Is he dying of old age or something? The tank is bare-bottomed for easy cleaning, and I change 30-40 % of the water weekly, despite the low fish load.
