Sometimes there is a delay in the receival of e-list posts at subscriber email boxes. This may be due to Topica's send scripting; I've noticed it occur with Yahoo! eGroups as well. I sometimes wonder if it is a combination of factors, including one's own email server. But this is pure speculation on my part, as I don't know the intricacies of Topica's elist routine. I'll do some digging. In any event, what I typically do is login & read messages from <http://www.topica.com/lists/detritus/>. If you try this, you'll see that Christine received a sameday response from me re: the board meeting, replying on 8/09 indicating that she was unable to attend. A history of all listposts is archived at this site. Noteworthy is that subscribers may alter their post receive format; i.e., as individual posts, or in digest form, where individual posts are collected and sent in a group once a day, or after a number of posts are put forth.
