Great Eric,

Thanks.

I'm being evicted, so my fishroom will be shut down for a while. I'm
unloading most of my larger tanks and stands as not worth moving twice and
storing. I have possibly placed 2 of my 55G tanks (one left) and have quite
a few 15-35G tanks in various shapes available, plus their stands and
accessories. I might part with some 10s, too.

Give me a call if you want a jump on the big moving sale Sat. and Sunday
(4th and 5th). I think I do not have a very inflated idea of what used tanks
are worth -- I buy many of mine at thrift shops. :-) These will be bargains
if I don't have to store them!

Many of my plants went to the Sacrapimento sale next Sat,. but I still have
a few nice Anubias and some less-usual plants for those interested.

General interest fish that will be going to shops next week include some
Rainbows (celebes and splendida australe), Rasbora espei (about a dozen) and
big Cardinals (same amount) plus a few banjo cats, a dollar sunfish, a few
Cory metae (young) and a lot of Peacock Gudgeons (young). Holler if
interested, for they will probably all leave by Sunday.

I'm in the North end of Fremont, near the E. end of Dumbarton Bridge.

Greetings all,

As some of you no doubt know, Detritus has been linked from the San
Francisco Aquarium Soc. website <http://www.sfaquarium.org>, in an
attempt to build the aquarist readership and comraderie here in the SF
Bay Area. So, a sincere "Welcome!" to those who've recently joined the
list. Spread the word, post questions, ideas, tips - and let's see if we
can get this discussion list on the move.

That said, this Friday, August 03 @ 8:00pm, the SF Aquarium Society
hosts Dick Au, who'll speak on selecting, breeding, and raising discus.
The auction should be excellent as well, with plenty of discus,
hardware, live plants, and other livestock to choose from. For
directions to the meeting, hit
<http://www.sfaquarium.org/directions.html>.

Cheers,

Erik Leung
